The MagSure Plasmid Isolation kit is designed to isolate plasmid DNA from bacterial culture using silica membrane column technology. The bacterial culture is lysed with the buffers followed by centrifugation to remove the precipitates containing genomic DNA and proteins. The supernatant containing plasmid DNA is allowed to bind the magnetic silica beads followed by washing and elution of pure plasmid DNA for use in molecular biology experiments. The isolated Plasmid DNA is suitable for various applications, including cloning, in vitro transcription, transformation, PCR, and Sanger sequencing.
