The MagSure DNA Clean-up Kit is developed to purify DNA from aqueous solutions by solid-phase reversible immobilization (SPRI) on silica-coated magnetic beads. Since the PCR products bind efficiently to the magnetic beads, this clean-up system removes salts, primer-dimers, unused primers & dNTPs. It is also designed for size selection and purification of specific PCR amplicons. The desired PCR products are eluted with low salt elution buffer, which is suitable for downstream applications, including Sanger sequencing, cloning, next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation, etc. This protocol is designed for manual PCR clean-up. However, the reagent can be used for a high-throughput liquid handling system.
