MagSure Magnetic Beads are magnetic nanoparticles coated with a silicon dioxide (SiO2) layer. Since silica can bind to the nucleic acids, our Magnetic Silica Beads serve as a simple and efficient alternative to silica columns for DNA or RNA isolation. These magnetic nanoparticles can be used for the isolation of total RNA, genomic DNA, PCR DNA, and plasmid DNA isolation using in-house buffers or commercial buffers. Also, the reagent can be used in a high-throughput liquid handling system.
