The MagSure Genomic DNA Purification Kit is developed for the purification of genomic DNA from the cells or tissue samples. Although this kit has been validated for genomic DNA isolation from cultured cells, it can be adapted to isolate genomic DNA from various samples, including tissues, blood, saliva, and swab. This kit works on the principle of solid-phase reversible immobilization (SPRI) using silica-coated magnetic beads. The kit isolates high-quality genomic DNA without contaminants suitable for downstream applications, including PCR, sequencing, restriction digestion, cloning, and southern blotting. Also, the reagent can be used in a high-throughput liquid handling system.
